Aragon photonics

The Aragon Photonics goal is to provide innovative all optical solutions for high resolution measurements. The company designs and manufactures the BOSA, High Resolution Optical Spectrum Analyzer (HROSA) based on a patented all optical technology, for the optical communication market.

Aragon Photonics works to be recognised as a worldwide photonic technology referent for its ability to generate and offer proprietary technology thanks to the experience and the application of a research methodology. We look for the interaction with our customers to offer better solutions to their needs. We promote the synergic relations between companies and universities.

Aragón Photonics Labs S.L., was established in October-04, as a spin off from the company Fibercom S.L., result of a solid and continuous collaboration with leading academic and researching groups (GTF, TOYBA) at the University of Zaragoza. In 2002, the research in DWDM technologies and in non lineal effects in optical fibres led to the development of new high resolution techniques in the optical communications field, and particularly to one based on Stimulated Brillouin Scatering (SBS).
